Abingdon Marathon · 17 October 2010

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the leading charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

I am running Abingdon Marathon on 17th October 2010 and decided to raise money for ‘The Stoke Association’ as it is KC’s Charity of the Year.

I last attempted a marathon in 2006 and got round in 3 hours and 53 minutes after hitting the wall and run/walking the last 6 miles and gladly fell into a heap at the end of it.

Extra Champagne Prize: When you donate please add a comment to guess my finishing time at Abingdon. The nearest guess will receive a bottle of bubbly.

Hiya,

3 hours 1 minute 30 seconds...this would mean you'd have to train to do another one!!!

Good luck.

Hope you get under 3.

Rob
